Born December 20, 1921 in Beatty, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. She was the only child of Charlie Fafula and Anna Petiya.

Elizabeth, or Libby as she was known, was of average build and short of stature.

Married Roy Charles Nims on June 22, 1946 by Rev Joseph A. Krispinsky at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio. The couple had four children, three boys - Roy Charles Jr., Charles Roy and Gregory K. and one girl - Barbara.
