Born on May 18, 1902 in Coopers Plains, Steuben Co, New York. He was the oldest child of Clifford Clark Walker and Charolette Irene Cooper.

Description

Arthur was of average build who stood about 5 foot 10 inch in height. He was clean shaven with brown hair and blue eyes.

Education

He completed grade school on May 1, 1917 at McArthur School District in Vinton County, Ohio. He went on to attend Warren G. Harding High School in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio and graduated in June of 1922.

Religion

Arthur was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in downtown Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio.

  • Marriage - Arthur married Frances Elsie Shafer on June 10, 1926 at the home of Frances' parents in Champion Township, Trumbull County, Ohio. Minister E. A. Hibler officiated the ceremony.

Arthur worked as auto worker and was employed as an inspector at Packard Electric Division of General Motors, Inc. for 45 years. He retired in 1970.

Enjoyed bowling, dancing, playing the saxophone, and he collected stamps and coins.

Death

Arthur died on June 29, 1987 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio. He was buried on in 1987 at Champion Township Cemetery in Champion, Trumbull County, Ohio.
