Born on February 15, 1964 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. He was the third and youngest child to Francis Edward Demyan and Dorothy Mae Briscoe.

The grave of Joseph is located in Holy Cross Cemetery which is located on 14609 Brookpark Road about two miles northeast of Brook Park, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. His grave can be found in the southwest corner of the cemetery in Section 39, Lot 259 grave 2.
