He was buried on July 11, 1933 at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. His grave is located in Section: St Francis (F), Row: 2, Grave: 50.

  1. On their marriage license, the couple's names written by a third party and then they were asked to make an "X" by their name in lieu of a signature. They "Xs" were annotated with a "his mark" and a "her mark."
