Born September 23, 1919 in Dysart, Cambria County, Pennsylvania. He was the seventh oldest child of John Politsky and Julia Klym.
Description
Walter, or Walt as he was known, was of average build (weighed 153 pounds in 1940) and stood about 5 foot 10 1/2 inches in height. He had brown hair and blue eyes.

He was buried on April 2, 2002 at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland, Trumbull County, Ohio. The grave of Walt is located in All Souls Cemetery on Hoagland-Blackstub Road, one mile north of SR 305 in Cortland, Trumbull County, Ohio. This cemetery is approximately 7-8 miles north of Warren, Ohio.
