Born June 4, 1925 in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio. He was a child of Harold Elmer Nims and Lilah Mae Shepherd.

Description

Roy was of average build (162 pounds in 1943) and average height of 5 foot 10 inches. He had a ruddy complexion with blue eyes and brown hair.
