Salvadore Conrad Mancino was born on April 6, 1928 in Farrell, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. He was the oldest son of Philip Mancino and Mary Grace Crivello.

Description

Salvadore, or Sonny as he was known, was a slim individual who stood about 5 foot 7 inch in height. He was dark complected, clean shaven with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

He attended Farrell High School in Farrell, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.

Military Service Years

Salvadore Conrad Mancino served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He began serving on June 25,1948 and was discharged on June 3, 1952.

He also was a former Athletic Director of Msgr. Geno Monti Elementary School and had coached baseball at all levels in Farrell, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.

Death

Salvadore died from colon cancer on May 1, 1983 at Sharon General Hospital in Sharon, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.

He was buried on May 4, 1983 at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Hermitage, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.
