Born December 1, 1923 in Kittanning, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. He was the tenth and last child of ten children born to Johan Petrilla and Juliana Alice Minarcik.

Description

Michael was of average build (150 pounds in 1942) and stature being 5 foot 11 inches in height. He had a ruddy complexion, brown eyes and brown hair.
