Born June 25, 1942 in Philadelphia, Trumbull County, Pennsylvania. She was the oldest child of Joseph Novick and Mary Timko.

Irene was of slight of build and average in height.

Irene graduated in 1960 from Harriton High School of Lower Merion.
She graduated from New York University with a B.S. in Education, received a Master of Arts in Teaching at Columbia University, and obtained a Master of Library Science from Queens College.

Irene was born into the Jewish faith.

How she met her husband -
Anna married Stanley Jay Sinowitz in June of 1967. The couple later divorced in October of 1984. They had three children: one boy - Brian Robert, and two girls - Laura Dale and Carolyn Jill.

Working Years
Anna was both a homemaker.
She also taught junior high school for a few years in New York before taking time off to raise her children. She returned to work as a school librarian in the Norristown School District, where she worked for 20 years
Personal Life
Irene loved spending time at the beach, exercising, reading, baking, taking care of her four cats, and spending time with her family.
Death
Irene passed away on August 25, 2025 in Audubon, Pennsylvania.
Her remains were buried at Roosevelt Memorial Park at 2701 Old Lincoln Highway in Trevose, Pennsylvania.
