Clearfield Bituminous Coal

The Clearfield Bituminous Coal (CBC) Corporation, who origins began with the acquisition of the McIntyre Coal Company of Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. In the lated 1800s, the corporation purchased coal fields in Clearfield County and, then later in the early 1900s, purchased fields in Indiana County as well.
