Born on July 4, 1925 in South Fork, Cambria County, Pennsylvania. She was the second oldest child born to Michael George Berish and Anna Elizabeth Hudak.

Married Anthony Andrew Litz on January 18, 1947 at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church by Rev. Joseph A. Krispinsky in Warren, Trumbull County, OH. The couple had seven children: six boys - Thomas Anthony, Timothy Michael, Daniel Joseph, James Emmett, Jeffery Alan and Alan Paul, and one girl - Beth Ann.

She was a den mother for Boy Scout Troop 270, a member of the Southington Band Boosters, a coach for the summer league girls softball and a member of the Braceville Card Club
Death
Anna died from congestive heart failure on January 23, 2005 at Universtiy Hospital of Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, OH.
She was buried on January 25, 2005 at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland, Trumbull County, Ohio. The grave of Anna is located in All Souls Cemetery on Hoagland-Blackstub Road, one mile north of SR 305 in Cortland, Trumbull County, Ohio. This cemetery is approximately 7-8 miles north of Warren, Ohio.
