Born May 16, 1906. He was an immigrant and was the second oldest child of the ten children of John George Petiya and his wife Anna Kolcum.

Description

John was of average build (weighing 170 lbs in 1940) and stature (5 foot 10 inch). He had red hair and hazel eyes.
