Anthony Andrew Litz

Born on April, 14 1925 in Warren, Trumbull, County, Ohio. He was the youngest of nine children born to Joseph E. Litz and Pauline H. Pasinski.

Description.

Anthony was a stocky, muscular individual who stood about 5 foot 10 inch in height and weighed about 155 pounds in 1943. He was clean shaven with brown hair and blue eyes. He wore glasses for most of his life.

Anthony played professional baseball for the Chicago Cubs as a second baseman and played for the Mid-Atlantic League in Youngstown, OH. He also coached.

Death

Anthony died from an acute stroke on July 15, 1998 at home in  Southington Township, Trumbull County, Ohio.

He was buried on July 18, 1998 at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland, Trumbull County, Ohio. The grave of Anthony is located in All Souls Cemetery on Hoagland-Blackstub Road, one mile north of SR 305 in Cortland, Trumbull County, Ohio. This cemetery is approximately 7-8 miles north of Warren, Ohio.
