Born November 6, 1903 in Hungary. She was the oldest child of the ten children of John George Petiya and Anna Kolcum. She immigrated into the United States in 1914.
Description
Anna, or Tannie as she was called, was of average build and short of stature. She had brown hair and brown eyes.

- Childhood - Anna had seven brothers, John R., Stephen, Joseph P., Frank J., Andrew Steve and Paul Edward, and two sisters, Helen Barbara and Pauline. When her mother passed away, Anna raised by her youngest sister Pauline.
