Military Service Years

A1C Robert Eugene Berish began serving in the U.S. Air Force on 10 Nov 1950 and was discharged on 9 Nov 1954. He trained as a technician at the USAF Technical School at Warren Air Force Base in WY.

Death

Robert died from complications from a stroke on December 4, 1973 at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio.

He was buried on December 7, 1973 at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland, Trumbull County, Ohio. All Souls Cemetery is located on Hoagland-Blackstub Road, one mile north of SR 305 in Cortland, Trumbull County, Ohio. This cemetery is approximately 7-8 miles north of Warren, Ohio. His grave is in Section 2, Lot 1006, Grave #2. (As you drive into the cemetery, his grave is directly across the road in Section #2 from the chapel. (See red star below.)
