He graduated from Leavittsburg High School.
Military Service Years
Began serving on 25 Jun 1943 and was discharged on 10 Dec 1945. He served in the 4th Marine Division in the Pacific Theatre.
Family Years
Married Anna Marie Berish on January 18, 1947 at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church by Rev. Joseph A. Krispinsky in Warren, Trumbull County, OH. The couple had seven children: six boys - Thomas Anthony, Timothy Michael, Daniel Joseph, James Emmett, Jeffery Alan and Alan Paul, and one girl - Beth Ann.
