Andrew, or Andy as he was known, was of average build who stood about 5 foot 5 1/2 inches in height. He had wavy, brown hair and blue eyes. He was known to smoke a pipe in later years.

Andy died from a heart attack on August 12, 1996 at Glenview Manor Nursing Home in Mineral Ridge, Trumbull County, Ohio.
