Born on April 6, 1928 in Farrell, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. He was the oldest son of Philip Mancino and Mary Grace Crivello.

Description
Salvadore, or Sonny as he was known, was a slim individual who stood about 5 foot 7 inch in height. He was dark complected, clean shaven with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
