Description

James was of average build (weighed 149 pounds in 1940) and tall (5 foot 10 inch). He had brown hair, brown eyes and ruddy complexion. He began to lose his hair in later years.

James married Anna Margaret Timko on August 8, 1936 in Dixonville, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. The couple was originally married by the Justice of the Peace Clifford Oaks and later remarried, by the request of his father-in-law, by Father Kerbenous.
