She was born Susanna Biros on March 13, 1912 in Clymer, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. She was the eighth oldest child to Michael Berish and Anna P. Mudry.
Description
Susan was of average build and stature. She had brown hair and brown eyes. She wore glasses in her later years.

Completed the eighth grade.
Religion
Susan was baptized into the Catholic faith on March 17, 1912 in Clymer, Indiana Co, PA. She was baptized by Reverend F. Pearns and her godparents were Michaelis Antolewich and Ilona Gaidosh.
She was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church of Apollo. She was also a member of the church Rosary Confraternity.
Family Years
Married Leo Dellafiora on November 4, 1930 at Holy Cross Church in the Islen, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. The couple had two children: one boy - Robert James, and one girl - Louise Suzanne.

Susan died on February 3, 2002 at the home of her son Robert James in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, LA. The Rev. John T. Sweeney officiated her funeral mass.
She was buried on February 5, 2002 at St. Bernard Cemetery in Indiana, Indiana County, Pennsylvania.
