Born on February 1,1908 in Clymer, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. She was the sixth oldest child to Michael Berish and Anna P. Mudry.
Description
Elizabeth was average in build and stature. She had brown hair and brown eyes.

Religion
Elizabeth was baptized into the Catholic faith on February 9, 1908 at St. Petricil Church in Cameron's Bottom, Heilwood County, PA .
She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
Family Years
Married Joseph Michael Nemitt on January 28, 1930 in the Toronto, Jefferson County, Ohio. She was 21 years old and Joseph was 26. They were married by the Reverend Andrew R. Beros in Toronto, Ohio. As fate seemingly would have it, the Reverend happened to be a distant cousin of the bride. Elizabeth and Joseph would begin their married life living with his family in Saline, Ohio while he began to build a life for his new bride.
The couple would eventually have three children: two boy - Joseph Michael and Robert John, and one girl - Elizabeth Jane. A four child, a boy, died shortly after birth.
The couple's three children were:

- Joseph Michael Nemitt Jr.
- Robert John Nemitt

Death
Elizabeth died congestive heart failure on October 12, 1999 at her home in Toronto, Jefferson County, Ohio.
She was buried on October 15, 1999 at Union Cemetery in Toronto, Jefferson County, Ohio.
