Pearl married Paul Steve Timko on June 2, 1958 in Trumbull County, Ohio. Over the next nine years, the young couple would have three children: one boy - Kevin Paul, and two girls - Kari Lynn and Mary Ellen.

Pearl died at home on May 21, 2017 in Ocala, Marion County, Florida.

She was buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Okeechobee, Okeechobee County, Florida.
