Dorothy married Salvadore Conrad Mancino on November 24, 1956 in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio.

Never the next seventeen years, the young couple would have four children: three boys - David Conrad, Robert Michael and Richard Mark, and three girls - Linda Jeanne, Cynthia Grace and Janet Lynne.

She was buried on December 11, 2006 at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Farrell, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.
