Born on April 26, 1904 in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio. He was the second oldest child of John Franklin Patterson and Emily Hoagland Walker.
Description
Morley, or Pat as he was known, was average in weight (182 pounds in 1942) but short in stature being 5 foot 9 inch. He had a ruddy complexion, with dark brown hair and blue eyes. He wore glasses in his later years. He had a habit of chewing on the end of his cigars until they slowly disappeared.
