Born on September 18, 1906 in Mercer, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. He was the fifth oldest child to James Mehard Campbell and Sarah Violet Greenfield.

Description

Charles, who went by the name of Chuck, was medium of build (154 pounds in 1940) and short in stature 5 Foot 6 Inch. He had brown hair and blue eyes.

Chuck was a member of St. Mark's Orthodox Church in Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio.

He never served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

He married Anna Tablack on April 26, 1934. The couple had two children - two boys: Mark R. and Richard L.

He was employed at Copperweld Steel Co, and retired after working there 27 years. He retired in 1969.

Chuck enjoyed bowling .

He was a member of the Warren Moose Lodge and the Warren Senior Citizens Bowling League.

Chuck passed away from an extended illness on June 12, 1982 at home in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio.

He was buried on June 15, 1982 at Pineview Cemetery in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio.
