Born on May 29, 1935 in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio. He was the only child of Morley John Patterson and Agnes Henrietta Shafer.

Description

Ken, as he was known, was average but short in stature. He wore glasses for most of his life.

He later graduated from Kent State University.
