Born on February 22, 1932 in Coral, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. He was one of two children born to Leo Dellafiora and Susan Elizabeth Berish.
Description
Robert, or Bob, was of average build and 6 foot tall. He had brown hair and blue eyes. In his later years he had a mustache and wore eye glasses.

Bob graduated from Bell Township High School in Salina, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
He also attended the University of Maryland for three years.

Bob was baptized into the Catholic faith.

Married Norma Jean Shearer on April 5, 1952 by Reverend Wallin in Elkton, Cecil County, Maryland. The couple had seven children: three boys - James M., Robert Joseph and Matthew, and four girls - Christine, Suzanne Marie, Lorraine D. and Kathleen.

Norma passed away on 7 22, 2023 at the home of his daughter Christine Dellafiora in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, LA.
It was her wish that her body be donated to medical science.
