Born on April 22, 1937 in Grant Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. Only child of Dio Spurgeon Mumau and Flay Zella Gromley.

James married Patricia Jane Norris on May 5, 1956 in Indiana, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. The couple had two children: one boy - James Earnest II, and one girl - Jane Diane.

Worked for Williamhouse LLC, Scottdale for 17 years. Also worked as a truck driver for Ames Department Store for last four years

Personal Life

James was a member of the Marion Lodge #0562 Scottdale F&AM, Grogas Lodge of Perfection, Uniontown; United Commercial Travelers; and Council Chapter Consistory Valley of Pittsburgh.

Death

James died of cancer at home on April 1, 2005 in Blairsville, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. He was cremated in April of 2005.

His remains were cremated.
