Working Years
In 1948, Ed started to work for the Warren City Street Department in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio. He then enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served from 1949 to 1952. When he was discharged, he returned to the Warren City Street Department and worked there until he was injured on the job in 1985. He retired as a formen.
During his high school years, he worked at a green house on Ratliff Road, off Summit Street, in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio.

Ed died at home on March 25, 1996 in Saybrook Township, Ashtabula County, Ohio. He was cremated.
