Anna was a woman of average height (5 foot 5 inch) and average weight.. She had a fair complexion with brown hair and brown eyes.

How Anna came to meet her future husband John Joseph Timko can only be a matter for speculation. It is known that the Slovak miners lived in very close-knit communities where everyone knew everyone else. Perhaps they met during a church social or through mutual friends or simply as neighbors. No matter, the county records show they were married on October 13, 1930 at St. Bernard’s Church in Indiana, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. The ceremony was performed by Father James Brady.

Death
Anna died from a heart attack on May 15, 1994 at St. Joseph's Riverside Hospital in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio.
She was buried on May 17, 1994 at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland, Trumbull County, Ohio. All Souls Cemetery is located on Hoagland-Blackstub Road, 1 mile north of SR 305 in Cortland, Ohio., Trumbull County, Ohio. This cemetery is approximately 7-8 miles north of Warren, Ohio. Anna's grave can be found at Section 3 NH, Lot 2419, Grave 4.
