Born on March 13, 1912 in Clymer, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. He was the second oldest child to Jack Dellafiora and Angeline Ianelli.
Description
He was of average build and stature (5 foot 9 inch). He had red hair and brown eyes.

- Childhood -
- Leo was born at home and he was named was Leo Peter Dellafiore. At the time of his birth, no birth certificate was created at that time as was common in those days. However, a Delayed Birth Certificate was created on July 22, 1943. It was notated on that Certificate that a midwife attendant named Gertrude Potosnack assisted in his birth .

Married Susan Elizabeth Berish on November 4, 1930 at Holy Cross Church in the Islen, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. The couple had two children: one boy - Robert James, and one girl - Louise Suzanne.

Death
Leo died of a heart attack while having heart valve surgery on June 17, 1968 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He was buried on June 20, 1968 at St. Bernard Cemetery in Indiana, Indiana County, Pennsylvania.
