The family of Charles Judson Shafer and Maude Irene Weiss had nine children: two boys - Raymond Judson and Donald Weiss (also a pair of twin boys died at birth) and five girls - Frances Elise, Agnes Henrietta, Marian Elizabeth, Eleanor Louise and Audrey Mildred.
