Anthony graduated from high school.

Civilian Conservation Corps

Anthony Olejarczyk enrolled in the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) on Juyl 2,1935 at the age of 18 as a laborer. He went from Fort Knox, Kentucky to Camp Birch Creek in Dillon, Montana to build roads with a pick and shovel. He was discharged November 8,1935 and was transported back to Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

He was a Chief Boatswain’s Mate in U.S. Navy for 20 years. He was employed by the US Postal Service until he retired. He was previously employed as a plant security guard for American Steel & Wire  in Cleveland, OH

  1. Owed and operated the Parma Janitorial Service which employed 70 employees.

Personal Life

Anthony was an avid reader.

Death

Anthony died from stomach cancer on September 18, 1990 in Parma, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. He was buried in September of 1990 at Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
