Born on December 30, 1936 in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio. He was the fourth oldest child to John R. Petiya Jr. and Mary M. Ulicny.

Death
Ronald died from pneumonia on September 10, 1938 at a hospital in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio. It was said "he died in Baba's arms on the steps of the hospital. They had been denied care at another hospital because they didn't have insurance or the money."
Road was buried at St. Mary's Cemetery in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio
