Born on May 8 1919 in Ohio. He was a child of Josef Olejarczyk and Anna Bukowa.

Anthony graduated from high school.

Military Service Years

BMC Anthony Joseph Olejarczyk served in the U.S. Navy. Began serving on 2 Aug 1949 and was discharged on 16 Mar 1969. He served on the USS Tennessee and manned a deck gun at the attack on Pearl Harbor. He was injured during the  Japanese attack. He recovered and went on to serve twenty years in the Navy and complete six world-tour cruises. Anthony was known as “Oley” while in the Navy. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Married Margaret Anne Timko in or about 1946. The couple had three children: two boys - Stanley Paul and Steven Anthony, and one girl - Barbara Anne.
