She attended high school but never graduated. Quit her senior year to care for her mother who had cancer.
Family Years
Married George Michael Berish on September 25, 1948 at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church by Rev. Joseph A. Krispinsky in Warren, Trumbull County, OH. The couple had four children: two boys - David Michael and Gregory George, and two girls - Jennifer Ann and Jacqueline Marie.

Pearl died from congestive heart failure on February 6, 2008 Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Trumbull County, OH.
She was buried on February 9, 2008 at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland, Trumbull County, OH. The cemetery is on Hoagland-Blackstub Road, one mile north of SR 305 in Cortland, Trumbull County, Ohio. This cemetery is approximately 7-8 miles north of Warren, Ohio. George's and Pearl's graves can be found in the east portion of Section 2 (across the road from the chapel), Lot 1006, Graves 3 and 4.
