Born on August 20, 1889 in Kurncszfalva, Hungary. He is the oldest known child of Stephen Timko Sr and Maria Kenderes.

Documentation shows that on June 10, 1908, Stephen Timko Jr. immigrated to America. He entered this country through Ellis Island, New York.

While Stephen submitted the necessary paperwork to become a naturalized citizen of the United States of America, he unfortunately died before it could be completed. His wife received notification that the paperwork had be rejected due to the fact that Stephen was no longer living.

There is no known record of whether or not Stephen attended school however U.S. Federal Census documents indicate he could read and write.

Married Anna Margaret Witco on June 25, 1917 in Johnston, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. The couple had three children: three girls - Mary, Anna Mae and Margaret Anne. When Stephen married Anna, she already had a child, a girl named Elizabeth Virginia Pavlisco.

He was buried on December 13, 1920 at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Byer, Indiana County, Pennsylvania.
