Born December 22, 1912 in Berwindale, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. He was the sixth oldest child of ten children born to Johan Petrilla and Juliana Alice Minarcik.

Description

Stephen, or Steve as he was known, was of average build and stature at five foot eight inches. He had brown eyes and brown hair.

Education

Steve completed the eleventh grade.

Religion

He was baptized into the Catholic faith.

He later became a member of New Creation Fellowship Church.

Military Service Years

Steve never served in the U.S. Armed Forces

Steve married Anna Burko on June 4, 1938.The couple had five children: five boys - John Steve, Edward M., Richard A., George R., and one girl - Louise:
