Born on July 9, 1904 in Mercer, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. He was the third oldest child to James Mehard Campbell and Sarah Violet Greenfield.

Harry was slight of build (135 pounds in 1942) and short in stature 5 Foot 6 Inch. He had brown hair and blue eyes..

Harry passed away on October 20, 1991 at St Joseph Health System East Hospital in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio.

He was buried in October of 1991 at Crown Hill Mausoleum in Vienna Township, Trumbull County, Ohio.
