Born on September 23, 1894 in Rzyiviec Galicia, Poland. He is a son of John Valuchuck and Cora (maiden name unknown).

Description

Michael was average in build who stood about 5 foot 6 inches in height. His had dark brown hair and hazel eyes.

Documentation shows that in 1913, Michael John Valuchuck, immigrated to America. He arrived on the Princess Matoik and entered this country through Ellis Island, New York.

The couple had five children: one boy - Michael John and four girls - Jennie Theresa, Carolyn A., Helen Teresa and Irene Marie. Anna had four girls from two previous marriages, Elizabeth Virginia from her first marriage to Joseph Pavlisco. Mary, Anna Mae and Margaret Anne from her second marriage to Stephen Timko.

Mr. Valuchuck was a member of Local 3548 UMW of America and Polish National Alliance Lodge 1397, all of McIntyre, Indiana County, Pennsylvania.

In his home life, he tended to his vegetable garden and pigs.
