Born April 15, 1892 at Six Mile Run, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. She was the oldest child of Michael Witco and Anna Martin.
Description
Anna was stout in build and short in stature. She dark brown hair and brown eyes.
Early Years
Anna was almost totally blind since the age of three. She was playing outside and called out to her mother that she couldn’t see. She was taken to the doctors who did more damage than good and Anna was became totally blind for about three years. Eventually she recovered partial vision. She likened her vision to like a room filled with smoke. She could find her way around the house but could not see anything in the distance. The family took her to numerous doctors in later years but the doctors said took much scarring had developed and only a eye transplant could help.
Naturalization

While her husband Stephen submitted the necessary paperwork to become a naturalized citizen of the United States of America, he unfortunately died before it could be completed. Anna received notification that the paperwork had be rejected due to the fact that Stephen was no longer living.
Education
Attended school until about the third grade.

She married Joseph Pavlisco and the couple had one child: one girl - Elizabeth Virgina. (As to what happened to Joseph, no record can be found.) Anna next married Stephen Timko Jr. on June 25, 1917 in Johnston, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. The couple had three children: three girls - Mary, Anna Mae and Margaret Anne. Anna died from a heart attack on October 20, 1972 at Indiana Hospital in Indiana, Indiana County, Pennsylvania.
She was buried on October 23, 1972 at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Indiana, Indiana County, Pennsylvania.
