Born on November 16,1946 in Farrell, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. She was the second oldest child to Andrew Michael Berish and Catherine Marie Bishop.

Early Years

  • Childhood - During his early childhood, at age 5, he burned his leg while playing in the backyard. He was dressed in a cowboy outfit with chaps. He got too close to a neighbors burning trash, there was a small burst of flames and the fringe on the chaps caught fire. He was burnt from his toes to his groin. He was in the hospital for months (It was not known if he would survive) and underwent numerous skin grafts
