Born on March 22,1910 in Buck Run, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. He was the seventh oldest child to Michael Berish and Anna P. Mudry.

Description

Peter was of average build and stature (5 foot 10 inch). He was clean shaven and had brown hair and brown eyes. He wore glasses in later years.

Peter was baptized into the Catholic faith on March 27, 1910 in Clymer, Indiana County, Ohio. He was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church.
