Joseph John Timko Jr. - Born on July 2, 1921 Aultman, Indiana Co, PA to Joseph John Timko and Anna Veronica Berish.
Early Years
He completed the tenth grade at Warren G. Harding High School.
Military Years
PO1 Joseph John Timko, Jr served in the U.S. Navy. He began serving on 27 Apr 1942 and was discharged on 14 Oct 1945. He served on the USS Ulvert M. Moore, a destroyer escort vessel as a metalsmith. He received the American Campaign badge, the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign badge, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign badge, Philippine Liberation Medal, Philippine Presidential Citation Ribbon, and the Good Conduct Medal.
