Description
Maria, or as she was later known Mary, was a heavy-set individual who stood about 5 foot in height. She had dark brown hair.
Early Years
Emigration & Immigration
Documentation shows that in 1895, Stephen Timko Sr. immigrated to America. However, Mary did not immigrate until 1907.
Naturalization
On July 7, 1921, when her husband Stephen became a naturalized citizen of the United States of America, she and their children also became naturalized citizens.
Education
There is no known record of whether or not Mary attended school however U.S. Federal Census documents indicate she could read.
Family Years
Married Stephen Timko Sr in or about 1895 in Hungary. The couple had eleven children: six boys - Stephen Jr, Joseph John, Andrew George, John Joseph, Paul John and Michael Joseph, and one girl - Anna Margaret.

Personal Life
Death
Mary died from cardiac failure as the result of carcinoma of the Bright's disease on January 30, 1934 at her home in Dixonville, Indiana County, Pennsylvania.
She was buried on February 3, 1934 at St Bernard's Cemetery in Indiana, Indiana County, Pennsylvania.
