Born August 10, 1925 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. The surname of her birth parents was Weir. Her adopted parents were Joseph Aloysius Spurrier and Pearl R. O’Donnell.
Description
Mary, or Peggy as she was known, was slight of build and short of stature (5 foot 2 inch). She had brown hair and brown eyes.

When her birth father died, her birth mother could not support the family, so her youngest children were placed in an orphanage. Mary remained there until she was placed with one of her cousins who became her foster parents
