Born September 23, 1904 in Kittanning, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. She was the oldest child of ten children born to Johan Petrilla and Juliana Alice Minarcik.

She was buried on August 13, 1993 at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland, Trumbull County, Ohio. All Souls Cemetery is located on Hoagland-Blackstub Road, 1 mile north of SR 305 in Cortland, Ohio., Trumbull County, Ohio. This cemetery is approximately 7-8 miles north of Warren, Ohio.
