It then began doing business as as the Brainard Strapping Division of Sharon Steel. It manufactured and sold steel strapping, strapping tools and strapping systems<br /> <br /> By 1981 Sharon Steel was shipping 13,000 tons of steel to the Brainard Strapping Division.
